Welcome to My Closer Walk. It is our hope and prayer you will be challenged, blessed and encouraged by what you find here.

My Closer Walk is dedicated to providing Bible-based articles addressing spiritual issues you may face as you seek to walk closer to the Master; articles on prayer, obedience, faith, etc,. Issues which we face as well.

If we face the same or similar issues you face, what makes us think we can help you? First of all, we do not have all the answers. We are simply fellow Christians seeking to grow in grace and follow Him more closely. However, we do have a considerable training in the Bible and years of experience reading and studying His word.

Regardless of the church you attend or your church background, we believe, “If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son, cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 (emphasis ours).

We believe in the doctrines set forth in The Apostles’ Creed.

Since the articles are not copyrighted, but provided as a free service, you may copy and distribute them as you see fit. Indeed you are encouraged to do so. However, we would appreciate it if you would invite your friends to visit My Closer Walk.

Recommendations will be made at the end of each article about books touching on the subject of the article. They are priced very competitively, and we encourage you to avail yourself of them. Simply click on the picture of the book’s cover to purchase the book.

We have decided not to wait until several articles were ready before launching the site. Thus, additional articles will appear from time to time.

A provision for donations is located in the right-hand menu of each page. All profits gained from this site will be given to world missions. But you are invited to return regularly whether you are able to make a donation or not.
